January 31st
I will never EVER cheat again!!!! I feel so gross this morning! I didn't even track what I ate. Gross, gross, gross!!!! The good thing about life, is there's always a new day. I know I can start over today. I know I will NOT be doing that again. It's ok to eat a treat, but I will not do what I did yesterday. My belly hurts...sad face. Ok, so I need to move on...
I am officially eating for my race. Nothing but good food from here on out. I am super excited about this. The good thing about this is, my family will be eating very healthy (my husband) too. I also am ramping up my exercise routine.
You know, I previously said I am going to move on. But I learned something yesterday. I have worked very hard this month. I don't want to go back to the old Melanie. Yesterday was an excuse to go back to the Melanie ways. I would always cheat on Sundays and think, "Ok, ok, this is it I am going to be strict"...and then fall off the wagon a few days later. I have cheated starting the follow through club. But it was always one more meal, this was the first time I did this in a month. Just because I am going to make a change with my diet (not diet diet, but how I eat) didn't mean I HAVE to make an excuse to be a PIG yesterday. I am not going to make any more excuses to cheat. I didn't have to cheat yesterday, but I did it. I am going to take what I have learned this month and make a life change. You will no longer hear me making anymore excuses.
Yesterday made me realize I should add another goal. I will try and not make anymore excuses this year.

I'm glad you realize that today's a new day! And new bras are great! Although, I'd still prefer NOT to wear one at all!
ReplyDeleteHey go team, go go team! (I told ya I was a YAFL cheerleader way back when!)
Getting real and loving it Melanie. There are no more excuses. When you have a bad day, eat too much, aknowledge it, search for the reason why you did it, and move on to a better new day.
ReplyDeleteYou're amazing!!
