Beer Good...Beer Bad

January 16th

What were my goals yesterday?  I think I forgot what I was supposed to do.  I think I did them all...hmmm.  So I ate and drank.  I probably used all my WW pts yesterday included activity points, allowance points and all of your points too!  We ended up spending the night at the Embassy.  One of the perks of traveling for my job, never every paying for rooms!  I LOVE the Embassy.  Who wouldn't?  Free cocktails and snacks, who could go wrong?  So I drank beer.  Beer is good and refreshing, but not the amount I drank.  I didn't do to bad with my dinner.  I ate a salmon BLT and only at half the bun.  But I did consume my fries and everyone else's..............so I will retract my statement, I DID do bad at dinner.

I didn't run, dang it!  I did go swimming for an hour.  I held a 47 lb boy on my back and a 23 lb girl and squatted the whole time.  But in the water they are more like, 10 lbs total.  How many activity points do you think I earned?

I will TRY and run today.  I am fearing I will be not seeing the scale move tomorrow.  That's ok, right?  Please tell me it's ok.  Well I don't blame that damn scale to not move after eating my weight in french fries.

I have to attend a birthday party today for some little kid.  Just kidding he's not some little kid.  He's my husband's cousins kid.  Good thing I won't waste my points at the party.  I really don't like their cooking.  Is that mean?  Is that not being nice?  Ok, so they forget to use any sort of seasoning.  I don't think they own the basics, salt and pepper.

I was nice yesterday...at least to my own judgement I was.

No sit ups or push ups.

Dang it, I didn't do well at all yesterday!!!  Do I get do ever?

Today's a lazy day, here's what I am going to focus on:

**Run--maybe
**200 sit ups/30 push ups
**Be Nice
**Keep house clean

Ladies, I hope you have a rest full day!

  1. Melanie, you're crackin' me up. There's almost nothing worse than non-seasoned food. WTH is with that?!?! Swimming counts and burns quite a few calories. Take it easy on yourself & get done what you get done. Not eating bad food is better than over-indulging on good food. That's my Dr. Phil take on the whole thing.

  2. You're hilarious! You exercise a ton so don't be so hard on yourself. I think it's wonderful you're enjoying your family.

  3. Sounds like a fun weekend. Focus on that! That's what I'm telling myself, especially since I just ordered Thai food.
